Macaron year license (159€/year)

Your Single Standard license allows you to use the music in one web – based project and covers all sync and dubbing rights. It doesn’t cover performing rights, which are normally the responsibility of the hosting platform like YouTube or broadcaster like a TV channel and can be easily cleared directly with performing rights societies.

With a valid Macaron year license subscription, you have unlimited access to the entire catalog of Blue music for use in any private or commercial WEB video production on any platform worldwide.

Any song that is downloaded with an active subscription can be used in perpetuity – meaning we will never ask for additional fees in the future or that the song is removed from circulation even after the subscription expires. Once you download a song with a subscription it’s licensed to use forever – period.

Yes! If you are hired to produce a film for a client, for their personal or commercial use, your license covers that usage. The client cannot use the music, however, apart from the video production, you were hired to do.

If your project is for TV or radio, you’ll need to fill in a cue sheet so that the broadcaster can pay royalties to our artists and composers.

All online licenses are for a single track for a single project but we do offer discounts on shorter mixes (such as stings and 30-second cutdowns) when you buy a Professional license.

A cue sheet contains details of all the music used in an audio and/or visual production to be broadcasted on film or TV. Performing Rights Organizations (PRO) will use this cue sheet to identify which composers and publishers should receive performance royalties.

Without cue sheets and the dedication of PROs, it would be impossible for composers and publishers to be properly compensated for the broadcasting of their music.

You can get the “Macaron Year License” and access to a group of music pieces that you can use in unlimited projects for a year period. However, if you like a piece of music from our single licensed pieces available to our platform, for more than a single use, please contact our account management team.

Sorry, but no. Our subscribers are personal license holders for our material and that cannot be transferred. However, your license does cover clients that hire you to produce a video project. This is not a transfer of license as the client is not free to use the music apart from the video production covered by your license.

Yes. The site is designed for users 18 years of age and older.

Music purchased from the Music Macaron library is royalty free. This means that after paying a one-time fee, you can use the music you’ve purchased for as long as you like in accordance with the terms stated iaccording to the type of licence. You never have to pay us any additional license fees based on usage.

Please note that our licenses do not include public performance rights. If you are unsure whether your project falls under the scope of public performance, please contact your local Performance Rights Organization (PRO).

Yes. The license permits usage of the music in a personal or professional context for yourself or as a part of a project for your clients.

Music Macaron music may not be sold by itself, transferred, bartered, traded, shared, leased, or given away to any other party and the license may not be subleased to a third party. Our music cannot be resold except to the extent that is embedded in your own work as part of a finished end product. You may not market the music as your own even if you add other instruments or a voice to the music. You may not sing over the music and sell or distribute the song.

The above also applies to any music Music Macaron may offer free of charge on our website, including watermarked previews. Please see the Limitations of Use section of our license agreement for further information.

No, you cannot. This is not allowed.

We are a production music library. Our music is available to license for synchronization in media productions (websites, videos, DVDs, TV broadcasts, films, games, etc.) as background music. You cannot sing over the music track or add an instrument and market the results as your own music or as your song, even if the original track has been transformed or edited or if you add other instruments or vocals to the music. This called a ‘Derivative Work’ and is not allowed. Music Macaron always owns the copyright of the music composition and recording.

You are allowed to record your voice and add the music as background for an audiobook, storytelling, hypnotherapy, guided meditation, self-help programs or any kind of narration. The difference is that the music is used as background for a product that is not marketed as a ‘song’ or a musical product. The purpose of the music is not altered in any way and the copyright of the music remains clearly and entirely in the hands of the composer and the publisher. Please note that if your project is intended to generate revenue to you and you distribute more than 1,000 copies of your production, you will require a Single Premium License.

No. All of our music has been created by our team of gifted professional musicians and composers exclusively for Music Macaron.
This includes well-known classical music pieces, public domain music, Christmas carols and nursery songs. In these cases, the original copyright has expired and the specific recording and adaptation performed by our musicians is unique. We own the copyright for all our adaptations and recordings.

A Macaron subscription cost 159€ a year (13,25€/month) and gives you unlimited access to ALL of the music on the Macaron Year Catalogue.

You can pay with PayPal or a credit card. It’s simple, there is no risk and if you choose Macaron subscription, you will have immediate access to the entire Macaron catalog.

No! Your Subscription is your FULL ACCESS PASS to ALL of the music in the catalog. We have no hidden fees.

Your license will renew automatically unless you choose to cancel.

If you signed up with PayPal, you can easily cancel your subscription through your Paypal account. If you used a credit card when subscribing, please contact our Support Team directly at info@musicmacaron.com This can be done any time before your subscription expires.

You have 14 days to cancel your subscription with a full refund if you have not downloaded any music.

Once you have purchased and downloaded a music file, Music Macaron cannot offer a refund unless an error has occurred.
